about

This is an album of completely improvised space music/soundcapes created with my trombone (and sometimes my voice). No overdubs. This is my second album since my return to improvised ambient music.

All the tracks have a sameness about them, which is intentional. It should all sound like one long song. I wanted to do an album continuing on a similar sound I got 10 years ago on "Eyes Drawn Upward at Dusk."

Me: trombone, voice, real-time electronics

This album was created using Plogue Bidule and TouchOSC. Without these two pieces of software, I couldn't have made this album, so check them out if you're interested in creating real-time improvised electronic music with a live audio sound source (as opposed to pre-recorded clips and stuff, like you can do with Ableton Live).

The cover image is from a SpaceX rocket launch. SpaceX put a bunch of their images in the public domain, which is great.
